Update on EU Vote

2012/02/23

This is quick update on the European Union’s vote on the proposed Fuel Quality Directive (FQD) which took place today.  As many had predicted, there was a stalemate (there wasn’t enough votes either way).  Seems that Canada’s lobbying has trumped science.

This means that the proposal will be voted on by the European Council some time in the spring or summer.

You can read the CBC’s story about the stalemate here.
